Byron Buxton Minor League Player of the Year 2013
Byron Buxton was the Baseball America and Topps Minor League Player of the Year in 2013. The outfielder split 2013 between Class A Cedar Rapids and Class A Advanced Fort Myers of the Minnesota Twins. He hit .341/.431/.559 with 8 HR, 55 RBI, 68 R, 32 SB in 68 games at Cedar Rapids and hit .326/.415/.472 with 4 HR, 22 RBI, 41 R, 23 SB in 57 games at Fort Myers. He was originally drafted by the Twins with the second pick of the first round in 2012. Buxton will be 20 on December 18.
