Boston Red Sox 2013 Minor League Player of the Year
Mookie Betts was the Boston Red Sox Minor League Player of the Year in 2013. The second baseman split 2013 between Class A Greenville and Class A Advanced Salem. He hit .296/.418/.477 with 8 HR, 26 RBI, 63 R, 18 SB in 76 games at Greenville and hit .341/.414/.551 with 7 HR, 39 RBI, 30 R, 20 SB in 51 games at Salem. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox in the fifth round in 2011. Betts turned 21 on October 7th.
