Henry Owens was the Boston Red Sox Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2013. The LHP split 2013 between Class A Advanced Salem and Double A Portland. He was 8-5, 2.92 ERA, 123 K, 1.14 WHIP in 104.2 IP over 20 games at Salem and was 3-1, 1.78 ERA, 46 K, 1.09 WHIP in 30.1 IP over 6 games at Portland. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox with the 36th pick of the first round in 2011. Owens turned 21 on July 21.
