Chicago White Sox 2013 Minor League Pitcher of the Year

Erik Johnson was the Chicago White Sox Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2013. The RHP split 2013 between Double A Birmingham, Triple A Charlotte and the White Sox. He was 8-2, 2.23 ERA, 74 K, 0.92 WHIP in 84.2 IP over 14 games at Birmingham, 4-1, 1.57 ERA, 57 K, 1.08 WHIP in 57.1 IP over 10 games at Charlotte and was 3-2, 3.25 ERA, 18 K, 1.55 WHIP in 27.2 IP over 5 games with the White Sox. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in the second round in 2011. Johnson will be 24 on December 30.
