The rosters have been revealed for the 2016 Futures Game to be played on July 10 at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. Every Major League team has at least one player on either the US or World roster and some teams have more than one. In this post I'll be going over the catchers on the US team.
Carson Kelly is a right-handed catcher at Double A Springfield of the St Louis Cardinals. He hit .291/.338/.414 with 6 HR, 17 RBI, 27 R, 0 SB in 60 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the second round in 2012. Kelly was born in Chicago, IL and will be 22 on July 14.
Chance Sisco is a right hand throwing and left hand hitting catcher at Double A Bowie of the Baltimore Orioles. He hit .313/.406/.408 with 1 HR, 27 RBI, 33 R, 2 SB in 66 games. He was originally drafted by the Orioles in the second round in 2013. Sisco was born in Corona, CA and turned 21 on February 24.
