Daniel Palka Southern League June 2016 POM

Daniel Palka of the Chattanooga Lookouts was selected the Southern League June 2016 Player of the Month. For the month he hit 29 for 96, .302/.372/.802 with 3 2B, 3 3B, 13 HR, 30 RBI, 20 R, 3 SB and 13 BB in 26 games. This season the outfielder is hitting .270/.348/.547 with 21 HR, 65 RBI, 42 R, 7 SB in 79 games. Chattanooga is the Double A team of the Minnesota Twins. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the third round in 2013 and was traded to the Twins in 2015. Palka will be 25 on October 28.
