Chris Herrmann traded to Diamondbacks

Chris Herrmann was traded by the Minnesota Twins to the Arizona Diamondbacks on November 10, 2015, The Twins in exchange received Daniel Palka.

Herrmann is a C\OF who split 2015 between Triple A Rochester and the Twins. He hit .260/.364/.342 with 1 HR, 6 RBI, 9 R, 3 SB in 23 games at Rochester and .146/.214/.272 with 2 HR, 10 RBI, 13 R, 0 SB in 45 games with the Twins. Over four MLB seasons with the Twins he hit .181/.249/.280 with 6 HR, 33 RBI, 37 R, 1 SB in 142 games. His MLB career caught stealing rate is 38%. He was originally drafted by the Twins in the sixth round in 2009. Herrmann will be 28 on November 24.

Palka is an OF\1B who played in 2015 at Class A Advanced Visalia. He hit .280/.352/.532 with 29 HR, 90 RBI, 95 R, 24 SB in 129 games. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the third round in 2013. Palka turned 24 on October 28.
