Khris Davis traded to Athletics

Khris Davis was traded by the Milwaukee Brewers to the Oakland Athletics on February 12, 2016. The Brewers in exchange received Bubba Derby and Jacob Nottingham.

Davis is an outfielder who split 2015 between Class A Wisconsin while rehabbing and the Brewers. He hit .100/.208/.100 with 0 HR, 2 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 6 games at Wisconsin and .247/.323/.505 with 27 HR, 66 RBI, 54 R, 6 SB in 121 games. Over four MLB seasons with the Athletics and Brewers he has hit .248/.308/.495 with 74 HR, 198 RBI, 173 R, 14 SB in 373 games. He was originally drafted by the Brewers in the seventh round in 2009. Davis turned 28 on December 21.

RHP Derby split 2015 between Rookie Arizona and Class A Vermont, He was 0-1, 6.75 ERA, 2 K, 1.88 WHIP, .385 BAA in 2.2 IP over 2 games at Arizona and 1-0, 0.78 ERA, 45 K, 0.84 WHIP, .161 BAA in 34.2 IP over 12 games with 8 GS at Vermont. He was originally drafted by the Athletics in the sixth round in 2015. Derby turned 22 on February 24.

Nottingham is a catcher who hit .299/.352/409 with 3 HR, 22 RBI, 25 R, 1 SB in 43 games at Class A Advanced Stockton after getting traded in July 2015He was originally drafted by the Astros in the sixth round in 2013. Nottingham turned 21 on April 3rd.
