Arnold Leon traded to Blue Jays

Arnold Leon was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the Toronto Blue Jays on January 5, 2016 for cash. The RHP split 2015 between Triple A Nashville and the Athletics. He was 2-5, 2.95 ERA, 55 K, 1.22 WHIP, .236 BAA, 1 SV in 58.0 IP over 20 games with 6 GS at Nashville and 0-2, 4.39 ERA, 19 K, 1.46 WHIP, .291 BAA in 26.2 IP over 19 games with the Athletics. He originally signed with the Athletics in 2008 as an amateur free agent out of Mexico. Leon will be 28 on September 6th.
