Adam Engel 2015 AFL MVP

Adam Engel of the Glendale Desert Dogs and Chicago White Sox was named the Joe Black Most Valuable Player in the Arizona Fall League for 2015. The outfielder led the AFL in average while hitting .403/.523/.642 with 9 2B, 2 3B, 1 HR, 9 RBI, 16 R, 10 SB and 16 BB in 19 games. He played the 2015 regular season at Class A Advanced Winston-Salem where he hit .251/.335/.369 with 7 HR, 43 RBI, 90 R, 65 SB in 136 games. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in the 19th round in 2013. Engel will be 24 on December 9th.

Jesse Chavez traded to Blue Jays

Jesse Chavez was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the Toronto Blue Jays on November 20, 2015. The Athletics in exchange received Liam Hendriks.

RHP Chavez was 7-15, 4.18 ERA, 136 K, 1.35 WHIP, .268 BAA, 1 SV in 157.0 IP over 30 games with the Athletics in 2015. Spencer Patton traded to Cubs

Spencer Patton was traded by the Texas Rangers to the Chicago Cubs on November 20, 2015. The Rangers in exchange received Frandy De La Rosa.

Cameron Maybin traded to Tigers

Cameron Maybin was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Detroit Tigers on November 20, 2015. The Braves in exchange received Ian Krol and Gabe Speier.

Ramon Flores traded to Brewers
