Chase De Jong traded to Dodgers

Chase De Jong was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 2, 2015 along with Tim Locastro. The Blue Jays in exchange received three international signing bonus slots. 

RHP De Jong was at Class A Lansing where he was 7-4, 3.13 ERA, 77 K, 1.08 WHIP, .231 BAA in 86.1 IP over 14 games. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the second round in 2012. De Jong turned 21 on December 29.

Locastro is a 2B\SS\OF who was also at Lansing where he hit .310/.409/.421 with 5 HR, 25 RBI, 48 R, 30 SB in 70 games. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the 13th round in 2013. Locastro turned 23 on July 14.
