Kelvin De La Cruz traded to Rangers
Kelvin De La Cruz was traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Texas Rangers on February 20, 2012 in exchange for cash. Normally I wouldn't comment on players with no MLB experience unless they are in a trade for a MLB player but the Rangers have already placed De La Cruz on their roster. He pitched Double A at Double A and was 5-6 with a 4.19 ERA, 95 strikeouts, 1.48 WHIP and 2 saves in 86 innings over 23 games. He originally signed with the Indians as an amateur free agent in 2004 of the Dominican Republic.
