George Sisler was inducted into the fourth MLB Hall of Fame class in 1939 along with Cap Anson, Edward Collins, Charles Comiskey, Candy Cummings, Buck Ewing, Lou Gehrig, Wee Willie Keeler, Old Hoss Radbourn and Albert Spalding. Sisler was a first baseman with 15 seasons MLB experience playing the St Louis Browns (1915-1927), Washington Senators (1928) and Boston Braves (1928-1930). For his MLB career he hit .340/.379/.468 with 102 HR, 1175 RBI, 1284 R, 375 SB in 2055 games.
I believe his best three seasons were 1920 when he hit .407/.449/.632 with 19 HR, 122 RBI, 137 R, 42 SB in 154 games, 1922 when he hit .420/.467/.594 with 8 HR, 105 RBI, 134 R, 51 SB in 142 games and 1921 when he hit .371/.411/.560 with 12 HR, 104 RBI, 125 R, 35 SB in 138 games.
Sisler was the American League batting champ in 1920 and 1922. He led the AL in triples in 1921 (18) and 1922 (18). He led the AL in runs in 1922. He led the AL in steals in 1918 (45), 1921, 1922 and 1927 (27).
Sisler was the American League MVP in 1922. He had double duty as the Browns manager (1924-1926) with a 218-241 record.
