Tim Lopes traded to Blue Jays

Tim Lopes was traded by the Seattle Mariners to the Toronto Blue Jays on September 30, 2016 to complete an earlier deal. The second baseman had hit .284/.358/.355 with 1 HR, 49 RBI, 74 R, 26 SB in 131 games at Double A Jackson in 2016. He was originally drafted by the Mariners in the sixth round in 2012. Lopes turned 22 on June 24.
