Brian Mundell South Atlantic League MVP 2016

Brian Mundell of the Asheville Tourists was selected the South Atlantic League MVP for 2016. This season the first baseman hit .313/.383/.505 with 14 HR, 83 RBI, 94 R, 7 SB in 136 games. Asheville is the Class A team of the Colorado Rockies. He was originally drafted by the Rockies in the seventh round in 2015. Mundell will be 23 on February 28.
