Preston Morrison Evan Manarino n Angel Perdomo Midwest League Co-POY 2016

Preston Morrison of the South Bend Cubs, Evan Manarino of the Beloit Snappers and Angel Perdomo of the Lansing Lugnuts were the Midwest League Co-Pitchers of the Year in 2016.

RHP Morrison was 9-4, 2.24 ERA, 85 K, 1.17 WHIP, .241 BAA, 1 SV in 92.1 IP over 17 games at Sound Bend and 3-0, 1.77 ERA, 37 K, 1.04 WHIP, 2.18 BAA in 35.2 IP over 6 games at Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach. South Bend is the Class A team of the Chicago Cubs. He was originally drafted by the Cubs in the eighth round in 2015. Morrison turned 23 on July 19.

LHP Manarino was 8-5, 2.15 ERA, 103 K, 1.08 WHIP, .246 BAA in 121.2 IP over 28 games with 21 GS at Beloit and 2-1, 1.27 ERA, 18 K, 1.09 WHIP, .230 BAA in 28.1 IP over 6 games with 3 GS at Class A Advanced Stockton. Beloit is the Class A team of the Oakland Athletics. He was originally drafted by the Athletics in the 25th round in 2015. Manarino will be 24 on December 28.

LHP Perdomo was 5-7, 3.19 ERA, 156 K, 1.22 WHIP, .219 BAA, 1 SV in 127.0 IP over 27 games with 25 GS. Lansing is the Class A team of the Toronto Blue Jays. He originally signed with the Blue Jays in 2011 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republc. Perdomo turned 22 on May 7th.
