For the week he hit 8 for 14, .571/.625/1.000 with 2 2B, 2 3B, 0 HR, 3 RBI, 8 R, 3 SB and 2 BB in 4 games. This fall the outfielder is hitting 10 for 25, .400/.448/.720 with 0 HR, 4 RBI, 10 R, 4 SB in 7 games.
The Astros prospect had split the 2016 season between Class A Advanced Lancaster and Double A Corpus Christi. He hit .317/.426/.519 with 10 HR, 60 RBI, 69 R, 33 SB in 80 games at Lancaster and .317/.426/.519 with 5 HR, 13 RBI, 20 R, 10 SB in 36 games at Corpus Christi. He was originally drafted by the Astros in the 16th round in 2014. Laureano turned 22 on July 15.
