Aristedes Aquino Florida State League MVP 2016

Aristedes Aquino of the Daytona Tortugas was selected the Florida State League Player of the Year for 2016. This season the outfielder hit .273/.327/.519 with 23 HR, 79 RBI, 69 R, 11 SB in 125 games. Daytona is the Class A Advanced team of the Cincinnati Reds. He was originally signed by the Reds in 2011 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Aquino turned 22 on April 22.
