During the month he hit 34 for 98, .347/.443/.694 with 4 2B, 10 HR, 27 RBI, 20 R, 0 SB and 20 BB in 26 games. his season the first baseman hit .316/.393/.563 with 38 HR, 108 RBI, 92 R, 0 SB in 158 games. Over 14 MLB seasons with the Tigers and Marlins he has hit .321/.399/.562 with 446 HR, 1553 RBI, 1321 R, 38 SB in 2096 games. He originally signed with the Marlins in 1999 as an amateur free agent out of Venezuela was traded to the Tigers in 2007. Cabrera turned 33 on April 18.
