Freddie Freeman September 2016 NL Player of the Month
Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves was selected the National League Player of the Month for September 2016. During the month he hit 35 for 91, .385/.486/.681 with 9 2B, 6 HR, 22 RBI, 22 R, 2 SB and 23 BB in 25 games. This season the first baseman hit .302/.400/.569 with 34 HR, 91 RBI, 102 R, 6 SB in 158 games Over seven MLB seasons with the Braves he has hit .288/.373/.484 with 138 HR, 515 RBI, 507 R, 19 SB in 909 games. He was originally drafted by the Braves in the second round in 2007. Freeman turned 27 on September 12.
