Collin Cowgill traded to Indians

Collin Cowgill was traded by the Los Angeles Angels to the Cleveland Indians on December 2, 2015 for cash. The outfielder split 2015 between Class A Advanced Inland Empire, Triple A Salt Lake City and the Angels. He hit .167/.286/.167 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB in 2 games at Inland Empire, .364/.404/.500 with 1 HR, 4 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 12 games at Salt Lake City and .188/.233/.290 with 1 HR, 2 RBI, 10 R, 2 SB in 55 games with the Angels. Over six MLB seasons with the Indians, Angels, Athletics and Diamondbacks he has hit .235/.297/.331 with 12 HR, 57 RBI, 83 R, 14 SB in 312 games. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the fifth round in 2008, traded to the Athletics in 2011, traded to the Mets in 2012 and traded to the Angels in 2013. Cowgill will be 30 on May 22.
