Jabari Blash traded to Padres

Jabari Blash was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the San Diego Padres on December 10, 2015 to complete an earlier deal. The Athletics had selected him in the Rule 5 Draft earlier in the day from the Mariners. The outfielder split 2015 between Double A Jackson and Triple A Tacoma. He hit .278/.383/.517 with 10 HR, 34 RBI, 38 RBI, 5 SB in 60 games at Jackson and .264/.355/.640 with 22 HR, 47 RBI, 41 R, 3 SB in 56 games at Tacoma. He was originally drafted by the Mariners in the eighth round in 2010. Blash will be 27 on July 4th.
