Manny Pina traded to Brewers

Manny Pina was traded by the Detroit Tigers to the Milwaukee Brewers on December 10, 2015 to complete an earlier deal. The catcher played at Triple A Toledo in 2015 where he hit .305/.379/461 with 7 HR, 39 RBI, 28 R, 2 SB in 77 games. His minor league caught stealing rate is 37%. He does have two seasons of limited MLB experience with the Kansas City Royals hitting .188/.235/.313 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB in 5 games. He originally signed with the Ranger in 2004 as an amateur free agent out of Venezuela. Pina will be 29 on June 5th.
