Hank Conger traded to Rays

Hank Conger was traded by the Houston Astros to the Tampa Bay Rays on December 2, 2015 for cash. The catcher hit .229/.311/.448 with 11 HR, 33 RBI, 25 R, 0 SB in 73 games with the Astros in 2015. Over seven MLB seasons with the Rays, Astros and Angels he has hit .225/.298/.373 with 28 HR, 104 RBI, 88 R, 0 SB in 329 games. His MLB caught stealing rate is 19%. He was originally drafted by the Angels with the 25th pick of the first round in 2006 and traded to the Astros in 2014. Conger turned 28 on January 29.
