Garin Cecchini traded to Brewers

Garin Cecchini was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Milwaukee Brewers on December 10, 2015 for cash. The third baseman split 2015 between Triple A Pawtucket and the Red Sox. He hit .213/.286/.296 with 7 HR, 28 RBI, 34 R, 9 SB in 117 games at Pawtucket and hitless in four at bats in two games with the Red Sox. Over two MLB seasons with the Red Sox he hit .229/325/.400 with 1 HR,  4 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 13 games. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox in the fourth round in 2010. Cecchini turned 25 on April 20.
