Luis Perdomo traded to Padres

Luis Perdomo was traded by the Colorado Rockies to the San Diego Padres on December 10, 2015 in exchange for cash or a PTBNL. The Rockies had selected him in the Rule 5 Draft from the Cardinals earlier in the day. The RHP had split 2015 between Class A Peoria and Class A Advanced Palm Beach. He was 5-9, 3.68 ERA, 100 K, 1.34 WHIP, .265 BAA in 100.1 IP over 17 games at Peoria and 1-3, 5.13 ERA, 18 K, 1.41 WHIP, .301 BAA in 26.1 IP over 6 games at Palm Beach. He was originally signed by the Cardinals in 2010 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Perdomo will be 23 on May 9th.
