Brent Lillibridge traded to Yankees
Brent Lillibridge was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the New York Yankees on June 21, 2013 for a player to be named later or cash. Lillibridge has six seasons MLB experience playing Of\SS\2B with the Cubs, Indians, Red Sox, White Sox and Braves. Before the traded he split 2013 between Triple A Iowa and the Cubs. He hit .281/.331/.425 with 5 HR, 13 RBI, 19 R, 6 SB in 48 games at Iowa and hit .042/.042/.042 with 0 HR, 2 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 9 games with the Cubs. For his MLB career he has hit .207/.271/.339 with 19 HR, 68 RBI, 100 R, 36 SB in 347 games. The Yankees assigned him to Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He was originally drafted by the Pirates in the fourth round in 2005. Lillibridge will be 30 on September 18.
