Ezequiel Carrera of the Columbus Clippers was 5 for 5 in an 11-10 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens. He was 5-5 with four runs scored while playing center field. In 2012 he is hitting .290/.338/.412 with 6 HR, 34 RBI, 59 R and 23 SB in 91 games with Columbus. He did play part of 2011 with the Indians hitting .243/.301/.312 with 0 HR, 14 RBI, 27 RBI and 10 SB in 68 games. Columbus is the Triple A team of the Indians. He originally signed with the Mets as an amateur free agent in 2005 out of Venezuela. Carrera turned 25 on June 11.
