CJ Cron 6 for 6 vs Red Sox
C.J. Cron of the Los Angeles Angels had a monster day at the plate going 6 for 6 with two home runs as his team crushed the Boston Red Sox 21-2 at Fenway Park on July 2, 2016. He was 6 for 6 with a double, two home runs, 5 RBI and 5 runs scored while batting sixth and playing first base. His first hit was a single in the second inning, followed by a solo shot in the fourth, a single in the fifth, a single and a two run home run in the seventh and a double in the ninth to cap it off, This season he is now hitting .287/.340/.473 with 9 HR, 42 RBI, 31 R, 1 SB in 71 games. Over three MLB seasons with the Angels he is hitting .267/.308/.452 with 36 HR, 130 RBI, 96 R, 4 SB in 263 games. He was originally drafted by the Angels with the 17th pick of the first round in 2011. Cron turned 26 on January 5th.
