Mike Trout Youngest 100 HR 100 SB
Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels became the youngest player in MLB history to reach the 100 home run and 100 stolen base marks. On Friday April 17, 2015 he hit his 100th career HR against the Houston Astros at the age of 23 years and 253 days old. Later in the game he added his 101st. He had reached the 100 career SB mark on September 5, 2014 against the Minnesota Twins. The previous youngest to the 100/100 club was Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees at 23 years and 309 days old. This season the defending AL MVP is hitting .364/.420/.614 with 3 HR, 9 RBI, 9 R, 2 SB in 12 games. For his five year MLB career with the Angels he has hit .307/.397/.552 with 101 HR, 316 RBI, 382 R, 104 SB in 504 games. He was originally drafted by the Angels with the 35th pick of the first round in 2009. Trout will be 24 on August 7th.
