Mike McDade traded to Orioles
Mike McDade was traded by the Texas Rangers to the Baltimore Orioles on March 25, 2015 for future considerations. The first baseman split 2014 between Double A New Hampshire and Triple A Buffalo in the Blue Jays organization and then signed a minor league deal with the Rangers in the off season. He hit .250/.307/.366 with 7 HR, 36 RBI, 25 R, 0 SB in 78 games at New Hampshire and .136/.174/.136 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 7 games at Buffalo. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the sixth round in 2007. McDade will be 26 on May 8th.
