Audry Perez traded to Orioles

Audry Perez was traded by the Colorado Rockies to the Baltimore Orioles on March 31, 2015 for cash. The catcher split 2014 between Triple A Memphis and the Cardinals before signing with the Rockies as a free agent in November. He hit .292/.298/.419 with 6 HR, 33 RBI, 27 R, 0 SB in 62 games at Memphis and appeared in one game with the Cardinals walking his only time at the plate. He originally signed with the Cardinals in 2008 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Perez turned 26 on December 23.
