Yankees advance Orioles out ALDS 2012

The AL East Champs New York Yankees knocked the Wild Card Baltimore Orioles out of the AL playoffs. New York won the deciding game 3-1. Yankees pitcher C C Sabathia went the distance and his line was 9.0 IP, 4 ER, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9 K in 121 pitches. Curtis Granderson swung the big bat going 2 for 3 with a home run, RBI, run and steal. The Yankees now face the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS.
