Athletics win AL West 2012
It came down to the last game of the season as the red hot Oakland Athletics over took the Texas Rangers to win the American League West. The Athletics swept the Rangers in a season ending series and won the last game in dominant fashion 12-5. They finished the regular season with a 94-68 record.
