Cardinals win NL Wild Card Game 2012
The St Louis Cardinals defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-3 in the National League Wild Card game. Kyle Lohse was the winning pitcher as his line was 5.2 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K in 81 pitches. Matt Holliday led the Cardinals hit attack going 2 for 3 with a solo HR, an RBI and 2 runs. Allen Craig was 2 for 4 with a double , RBI and run scored. Catcher David Ross of the Braves provided most of their offensive spark going 3 for 4 with a HR, 2 RBI and a run scored. The defending champs will next host the Washington Nationals Sunday for the first game of their NLDS series.
