Giants advance Reds out NLDS 2012

The NL West Champs San Francisco Giants knocked NL Central Champs Cincinnati Reds out of the NL playoffs. The Giants won the deciding fifth game 6-4. Matt Cain got the win and had the line 5.2 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K in 96 pitches. Buster Posey delivered the biggest blow with a grand slam off Reds starter Mat Latos in a six run fifth inning. The Giants will next player the winner of the Washing Nationals\St Louis Cardinals series.
