Will Lamb traded to White Sox

Will Lamb was traded by the Texas Rangers to the Chicago White Sox on December 10, 2015. The Rangers in exchange received Myles Jaye.

LHP Lamb split 2015 between Double A Frisco and Triple A Round Rock. He was 1-1, 3.12 ERA, 24 K, 1.46 WHIP, .260 BAA in 26.0 IP over 22 games at Frisco and 2-3, 5.52 ERA, 27 K, 1.52 WHIP, .260 BAA in 31.0 IP over 25 games at Round Rock. He was originally drafted by the Rangers in the second round in 2011. Lamb will be 26 on September 9th.

RHP Jaye pitched at Double A Birmingham in 2015 where he was 12-9, 3.29 ERA, 104 K, 1.23 WHIP, .244 BAA in 147.2 IP over 26 games. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the 17th round in 2010 and traded to the White Sox in 2012. Jaye turned 24 on December 28.
