Daniel Robertson was traded by the San Diego Padres to the Texas Rangers on April 23, 2014 in exchange for cash. The outfielder was at Triple A El Paso of the Padres prior to the trade and hit .364/.391/.727 with 2 HR, 5 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 5 games. In 2013 when the Padre's Triple A affiliate was at Tucson he hit .285/.371/.384 with 2 HR, 53 RBI, 91 R, 23 SB in 136 games. He was originally drafted by the Padres in the 33rd round in 2008. Robertson will be 29 on September 30.
