Robert Andino traded to Pirates
Robert Andino was traded by the Seattle Mariners to the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 31, 2013 for a player to be named later or cash. Andino is a 2B\SS\3B with nine seasons MLB experience playing with the Mariners, Orioles and Marlins. He split 2013 between Triple A Tacoma where he hit .229/.281/.333 with 3 HR, 12 RBI, 17 R, 2 SB in 44 games and the Mariners where he hit .184/.253/.237 with 0 HR, 4 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 29 games. For his MLB career he has hit .232/.294/.318 with 18 HR, 96 RBI, 157 R, 24 SB in 468 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the second round in 2002. Andino turned 29 on April 25.
