Jesse Crain traded to Rays
Jesse Crain was traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Tampa Bay Rays on July 29, 2013 in exchange for a player to be named later or cash. RHP Crain has 10 seasons MLB experience pitching for the White Sox and Twins. Prior to the trade he was 2-3, 0.74 ERA, 46 K, 1.15 WHIP in 36.2 IP over 38 games with the White Sox. For his MLB career he is 45-30, 3.05 ERA, 440 K, 1.23 WHIP, 4 SV in 532.0 IP over 532 games. He was originally drafted by the Twins in the second round in 2002. Crain turned 32 on July 5th.
