Jason Kubel traded to Indians

Jason Kubel was traded by the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Cleveland Indians on August 30, 2013 in exchange for a player to be named later or cash. Kubel is an outfielder with nine seasons MLB experience playing with the Diamondbacks and Twins. This season he hit .220/.288/.324 with 5 HR, 32 RBI, 21 R, 0 SB in 89 games with the Diamondbacks. For his MLB career he has hit .265/.330/.456 with 139 HR, 551 RBI, 430 R, 11 SB in 983 games. He was originally drafted by the Twins in the 12th round in 2000. Kubel turned 31 on May 25.
