Guillermo Moscoso traded to Giants

Guillermo Moscoso was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the San Francisco Giants on July 26, 2013 for a player to be named later or cash. RHP Moscoso had four seasons MLB experience pitching with the Rockies, Athletics and Rangers. He pitched with Triple A Iowa of the Chicago Cubs prior to the trade. He was 7-5, 3.93 ERA, 94 K, 1.30 WHIP in 94.0 IP over 17 games at Iowa. For his MLB career he is 11-12, 4.23 ERA, 141 K, 1.32 WHIP in 200.0 IP over 59 games. He originally signed with the Tigers in 2003 as an amateur free agent out of Venezuela. Moscoso will be 30 on November 14.
