Mitchell Boggs traded to Rockies

Mitchell Boggs was traded by the St Louis Cardinals to the Colorado Rockies on July 9, 2013 in exchange for international bonus slot money. 

RHP Boggs had six seasons MLB experience pitching with the Cardinals. Prior to the trade he split 2013 between Triple A Memphis and the Cardinals. He was 0-2, 5.70 ERA, 14 K, 1.73 WHIP in 23.2 IP over 18 games at Memphis and was 0-3, 11.05 ERA, 11 K, 2.46 WHIP, 2 SV in 14.2 IP over 18 games with the Cardinals. For his MLB career he is 13-15, 4.13 ERA, 229 K, 1.46 WHIP, 6 SV in 309.2 IP over 234 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the fifth round in 2005. Boggs turned 29 on February 15.
