Rangers call up Jurickson Profar

The Texas Rangers have included their top prospect Jurickson Profar among their September call ups. The shortstop played 2012 with Double A Frisco where he hit .281/.368/.452 with 14 HR, 62 RBI, 76 R, 16 SB in 126 games. He originally signed with the Rangers as an amateur free agent in 2009 out of Curacao. Profar turned 19 on February 20.
