Barret Loux Texas League Pitcher of Year 2012

Barret Loux of the Frisco RoughRiders was awarded the Texas League Pitcher of the Year. Frisco is the Double A team of the Texas Rangers. In 2012 the RHP was 14-1 with a 3.47 ERA, 100 K, 1.27 WHIP in 127.0 IP over 25 games with Frisco. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks with the sixth pick of the first round in 2010 but they did not sign him due to injury concerns. He signed as a free agent with the Rangers in 2010. Loux turned 23 on April 6th.
