Rangers claim playoff spot 2012
The Texas Rangers claimed an AL playoff spot with an 8-7 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on September 30. The win put their record at 93-66 as they have a two game lead on the Oakland Athletics. The Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees also claimed playoff spots the same day.
