Michael Foltynewicz South Atlantic League Pitcher of Year 2012

Michael Foltynewicz of the Lexington Legends was awarded the South Atlantic League Most Outstanding Pitcher. Lexington is the Class A team of the Houston Astros. In 2012 the RHP was 14-4 with a 3.14 ERA, 125 K, 1.36 WHIP in 152.0 IP over 27 games. He was originally drafted by the Astros with the 19th pick of the first round in 2010. Foltynewicz will be 21 on October 7th.
