Cardinals call up Shelby Miller

The St Louis Cardinals have called up RHP Shelby Miller. He pitched 2012 with Triple A Memphis where he was 11-10 with a 4.74 ERA, 160 K, 1.38 WHIP in 136.2 IP over 27 games. The RHP had been a Futures Game selection in 2010 and 2011. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals with the 19th pick of the first round in 2009. Miller will be 22 on October 10.
