Orioles claim playoff spot 2012
The Baltimore Orioles claimed an AL playoff spot with a 6-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox on September 30. The win put their record at 92-67 and in a tie with the New York Yankees and a four game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees and Rangers also claimed play off spots the same day.
