Jeff Baker traded to Braves
Jeff Baker was traded by the Detroit Tigers to the Atlanta Braves on August 31, 2012 in exchange for a player to be named later. The 1B\2B\OF is in his eighth MLB season playing with the Tigers, Cubs and Rockies. He had been traded by the Cubs to the Tigers on August 5th. In 2012 he has hit .269/.306/.448 with 4 HR, 20 RBI, 16 R, 4 SB in 54 games with Chicago and hit .200/.243/.257 with 0 HR, 4 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 15 games with Detroit. For his MLB career he has hit .268/.318/.432 with 37 HR, 177 RBI, 184 R, 12 SB in 529 games. He had originally been drafted by the Rockies in the fourth round in 2002. Baker turned 31 on June 21.
